Lindsey Koroly
Owner/Lead Trainer
In 2006 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in animal science, with a concentration in animal behavior, Lindsey formed Love Your Canine. Lindsey has extensive experience working with animals of every shape and size. With over seven years of small animal veterinary technician experience, she uses this knowledge to better understand the way dogs think and react. She is well versed in the animal science industry and has worked as an exhibit speaker at many of the marine animal attractions at Sea World San Diego, participated in an internship with the largest falconry on the central coast, led a behavioral study on a flock of Chilean Flamingos at the Santa Barbara Zoo, raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, has worked as a contracted obedience instructor for the city of San Luis Obispo and as a registered veterinary technician at Veterinary Surgical Services of Edna Valley in San Luis Obispo.
Lindsey's goal for Love Your Canine is to encompass the needs of the entire dog, rather than just focusing on one area. At Love Your Canine we understand that your dog is a part of the family which is why we provide a complete evaluation to meet your dogs needs in every way possible. Whether that means grooming, a private training lesson, or pet sitting in the comfort of your own home we are here to help you and your canine companion!

Kaelyn has had a passion for animals her entire life. She has followed that passion in many ways including working and riding lessons for several years including at the UC Davis Equestrian Center while she attended school there. Kaelyn has a BS from UC Davis in Anthropology with an emphasis in Wildlife Behavior.
In addition to horses, Kaelyn interned at a wildlife education facility and cared for over 50 species of wildlife on the facility from reptiles and parrots to camels and spider monkeys so she has cared for animals of all shapes and sizes! Kaelyn raised and trained 4 guide dog puppies for the blind and ran her own pet sitting and dog training business through college. She then worked in a wildlife rescue an rehabilitation center in Sacramento,CA. Kaelyn now works for Sea World San Diego in Education and Conservation and trains dogs privately.
Experience with wildlife behavior and training gives her some added perspective to dog behavior and the reasons behind behaviors. She is experienced in handling all ages and sizes of dogs. Whether your dog is difficult to control on a walk, jumps on everyone who walks through the door, or just needs to learn basic obedience Kaelyn can help your dog become a well rounded happy dog. Her training methods follow those of Guide Dogs for the Blind closely; emphasizing positive reinforcement and believing you should always praise more than you correct. The gentlest approach is taken every time but Kaelyn also believes in establishing dominance with your dog. A well adjusted and content dog knows where he stands in your family and makes for a happier family! Kaelyn is experienced with multiple training methods and protocols to tackle problem behaviors to find a one that works for your individual dog. And remember a happy dog is a tired dog! And a great way to get a tired dog is in an obedience class!
